This band have come into their own since the release of their debut EP ‘Milkshake’. JAWS hit the The Wardrobe in Leeds to play to a sold out crowd back in November 2019 as part of their extensive UK tour in support of their 3rd Album ‘The Ceiling’.
It’s very rare that a band of this size manage to pull off a hugely professional show in a small venue but these guys got everything right, right from the offset JAWS came on stage to a tantalising synth-pop backing tracking, paired with a sparkling light-show and immediately got the crowd going with their opening track, Driving at night.
The band played a set combining all of their huge hits and big bangers from their recent album, it never slowed down, they had each person in the room in the palm of their hand.
Their live sound was one of the best parts of the show, you can tell that they’ve spent a lot of time mastering how they want their tracks to come across live, and it works perfectly.
Although they are on their third album, you couldn’t help feeling throughout the night that they are just getting started, they’ve got such a loyal following, especially in the north and I for one can not wait to see what they do next.
